Everyone on the Institute 3E staff has at a minimum, a four year degree in Exercise Science. In addition to that, the majority of our staff has nationally accredited certifications in the most respected strength and conditioning organizations. Education has been the foundation of our training procedures, but it is our practical experience working in the weight room that has led to our success with high level athletes.

Jon is the Founder of Institute 3E. Post-graduation he enrolled in internship programs and mentored with world renowned strength and conditioning coaches, Paul Chek and Charles Poliquin. He is currently recognized by Charles Poliquin as a PICP 4 “International Level Coach” for his success coaching athletes who were selected to compete at the Olympic, World, and Professional level. Paul Chek has also recognized Jon as a Level 3 Practitioner; for demonstrating the ability to work with professional athletes on complex programming when a more technical approach is required.
Through his studies he has become an expert in assessment and program design. These skills have led to a steady following of high performance athletes including; NHL, NFL, and NCAA Division 1 competitors.

Keith is the longest tenured coach at Institute 3E. One of the most familiar faces among our athletes, he is “super” appreciated for his passion to help athletes get to the next level. Our entire clientele, from youth to professional, understand the value Keith provides.
He is considered an expert in Athletic Performance Training, holding a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) with the NSCA. He also has a certification with USA Weightlifting and extensive understanding of Olympic Weightlifting.
Keith uses his education, practical experience, and positive attitude to create a high energy training environment for our athletes. Humble, hardworking, and result oriented are some of the qualities that exemplify Keith as a leader at Institute 3E.

Paul is a key figure among the Institute 3E family. He has multiple years of experience working with all levels of athletes, from youth to professional. He is considered an expert in Athletic Performance Training and Sports Nutrition. He holds certifications with the NSCA, (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist: CSCS), ISSA, and USAW-1 certifications.
Paul also has extensive practical experience in Olympic Weightlifting and coaching. This understanding has helped him develop a keen sense for technique, cuing, and demonstration of complex exercises. A true leader by example, Paul demonstrates the key characteristics we expect from athletes who train here.

Dave is an exciting new addition to the Institute 3E staff. As a competitive Powerlifter, he brings the mindset of strength development to every session. He has familiarity, experience, and keen sense for what it takes to lift heavy. Due to his passion for everything “weight room”, and respect for sports science Dave is well on his way to becoming an elite strength coach.
As a recent graduate from Hofstra University, Dave is beginning the process of post graduate education by enrolling for his Masters in Sports Science and completing certifications from ISSN and the NSCA (CSCS).

Jamie is quickly becoming a familiar face at Institute 3E. He has passion, and a keen sense for the scientific aspect of Strength and Conditioning. Jamie is an expert with research, case studies, and sifting through scientific literature. He can quickly recognize the difference between important data and irrelevant information. Jamie plays an important role in the development of individual athletic profiles and team testing.
He combines practical experience and education, to provide athletes with a comprehensive style of coaching. Jamie uses patience and positive energy as a tool to get those he works with stronger.
